Front Gardens Competition

‘Warriston Front Gardens Competition 2024

Gardens were judged on August 12th. Apart from saying that it would be held in late summer, the ‘Glorious Twelfth’ was the chosen date.

There were fewer  gardens where standards had improved compared to other years but the weather appears to have taken its toll. Is it re-wilding or was it too inclement to weed and cut grass?

The gardens which are Highly Commended with 7/10 or more are the following ;-

Warriston Avenue.  5, 20, 32, 36, 38, 48, 50.

Warriston Drive.       7, 15 west, 21, 53, 30, 40, 44.

Warriston Gardens.  18, 26, 30, 31.

Warriston Gove .       11.

Warriston Terrace.   20, 37, 47.

Inverleith Row.          100, 102, 104.

This year’s winner is No. 53 Warriston Drive. Congratulations!
